About Ron

Ron is a corporate finance advisor and finance director with over 20 years of experience. Ron qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, gaining valuable M&A experience in the Corporate Finance Advisory practice. Ron started a career in the property industry in 2011, joining former client St Modwen Properties PLC. Since 2016, Ron has worked with entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses, including the Boparan Private Office and BPG, with a strong focus on commercial deals, M&A, and finance raising.

During Ron´s time at the Boparan Private Office as Finance Director, he led several fundraising and M&A transactions for the property and investment group, as it grew from £260m to £600m turnover, with £45m EBITDA.

With strong sector knowledge in property, Ron has led a wide range of financial transactions, including a £100m revolving credit facility secured on a large property portfolio with a syndicate of three banks. He has also completed several transactions in other sectors including food, manufacturing, chemicals, and consumer goods, with deal values up to £100m.

Ron prefers a no-nonsense approach to advice, ensuring all aspects of the deal process are clear. He particularly likes working with entrepreneurs and owner-managers. Ron graduated with a BSc in Economics and Finance, became a chartered accountant with the ICAEW and gained his certificate in corporate finance with the CISI.

Ron likes outdoor sports, including skiing, cycling and tennis. On the weekend, he enjoys family time and hiking. He has a long-term ambition to own a brewery!
